Don't get comfortable

Forget the polls and yes hold back on the celebrating for now. We have 2 weeks and 3 days until the election and we need to keep our guard up, continue volunteering doing phone calls, canvasing and putting up signs right up until November 4th.

If you don't work on election day and aren't a volunteer at the polls then volunteer at the local Obama office to do follow up phone calls in the afternoon of November 4th as there will most likely be lists of registered voters who haven't voted yet. It takes even the shyest person about 10 or 15 minutes to get into the swing of phone calls. The Obama office has an outline of what a volunteer can say during a phone call and again as I said after the 3rd or 4th call you'll have it down pat.

I'm counting so much on this election to change things and stop the 8 year pattern of destruction Bush has lead us into and McCain will continue on that path no matter what he tells you. I'm a Republican and these days that's not a good thing to say but I'm a Moderate Republican and one who wants to see our party pulled out of the clutches of the NeoConPoops who have hi-jacked the Republican Party. And I'll vote America FIRST and the Republican Party can go screw itself the rest of the way into the ground but I won't partner with them destroying America like it has been in the last 8 years.

Yes, stay alert and be active! I agree, as I have stated on the Board, I have already voted, Daze and I will be spending the day as an Obama Taxi Service.

Mrs. Daze taxi service is a wonderful thing as long as you shy away from having Robo help out. The boy can't be trusted.

FarmGuy and myself will do whatever the Obama headquarters here throws at us to do.

The one very heartening thing we are seeing around here are more Obama signs sprouting in yards. It just takes a few people to get the wagon rolling and the rest of the people who support this wonderful young man come out too.

I try not to be down-hearted with the NeoConPoops who blubber stupid fear cries and try to pile on the elephant dung because I realize that most sensible people will step back and disregard their party in this time when America needs Barack Obama's talented leadership abilities. Barack Obama will be one of the greatest statesmen of our time.
